Design Story:
This gorgeous concoction was inspired by an Erika Watson original Green With Envy, an asymmetrical beauty featuring a pear shaped gem as star of the show. We were going for a feminine, lighter take on the original design and what we came up with exceeded all expectations!
VISION BOARD
Knowing roughly how we wanted the ring to be pieced together - using an symmetrical cluster design - the main thing that needed to be decided upon was gem selection.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
We started off with a gorgeous elongated pink pear-shaped sapphire and built from there, adding in smaller stones in a range of colours and shapes from the existing Erika Watson Loose Gem Collection!
It wasn't long before the design was born.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & COMPLETION
Sitting low on the finger and with a fine knife-edged white gold band this contrasting of metal and gem really made the colours pop! Check out the comparison between the original Green With Envy design and Passion Pop, noting how we accomplished something similar in beauty and design yet personalised and bespoke at the same time!
All that was left to do was send her to her excited new owner!
